Abstract

The training activities at the Early Childhood Education Teacher Training Center within the Ministry of Religious Affairs aim to improve the quality and competency of education in the context of early childhood education. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, relying on observations and in-depth interviews with training participants, as well as the analysis of related documents. The research findings indicate that although the training has been conducted well, there are several significant obstacles in applying the training outcomes in teachers' workplaces. The main findings suggest that a lack of support from superiors, issues of seniority among teachers, and inadequate facilities are major barriers to the development of teacher competencies. Therefore, to enhance the effectiveness of the training, collaboration between the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the education inspectorate, and school administrators is necessary to create an environment that supports the implementation of new skills acquired by teachers during the training.
